Siti Kamariah Ahmad Subki is Economics, Finance and Private Sector Advisor to the World Humanitarian Summit and United Nations High-Level Panel for Humanitarian Financing Secretariats based in New York, USA.
Siti Kamariah leads the Islamic Social Finance initiative, recently launched at the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, in his report titled ‘One Humanity – Shared Responsibility’ recognized that “social and faith-based financing, such as Islamic Social Finance, and diaspora remittances are important additional sources of financing that should be better leveraged to reduce vulnerability.”
Prior to this, Siti Kamariah accumulated more than 11 years’ experience in the private sector in Malaysia and Australia focusing in good governance, financial audit & reporting, sustainable financing and impact investing.

Siti Kamariah is a Chartered Accountant and Financier by training and was educated at the University of Sydney and University of New South Wales in Australia.
