Based in Plan’s International Headquarters, Nathan is helping to develop feedback systems to enhance learning and effectiveness. He faces the challenge of building on existing participatory methodologies and finding practical ways to close feedback loops, thereby increasing organizational adaptability and responsiveness to complexity. His work focuses on approaches that are capable of generating quantified perceptions data at scale. Previously, he was an M&E Officer in UNICEF Nepal’s Child Protection team, where he worked on child protection information management systems and data collection methods utilizing new technologies. He has also worked with UNDP in the Maldives and a local NGO in Burundi exploring beneficiary feedback issues. Nathan has an MBA from Jones International University and studied Justice, Peace, and Conflict at Eastern Mennonite University. He is also a ceramicist and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children
